    • He is buried in the family Burial Place in the Churchyard of St. John, Barbados which is marked with a stone inscribed "Sacred to the memory of John Hothersal Esq. who died November 22nd A.D. 1796. Also William Pinder Esq. who died 16 Decenber 1806 and Anne Isabella, his wife, eldest daughter of the above mentioned John Hothersal who died in April 1807. Also Francis Ford, infant son of the Revd. John Hothersal Pinder, M.A. and Ann Brathwaite, his wife who died August 14th A.D. 1824."

    • witten 29 September 1806 and proved, By his will dated 29th September 1806, PD 15th January 1807, The Honourable William Pinder gave his widow an annuity of £400 currency, charged on his plantation Hogstye, and her living thereon. To his son the Rev. Wm. Lake Pinder £4,000, and to each of his three daughters Elkizabeth Skeete Yard, Isabella Harvey, and Matthew Tidy £2,500 currency, when each of his sons-in-law (their husbands) should possess sufficient landed estate to vest the same and settle it upon them. These legacies were charged upon his plantation Ayshford. To each of his daughters Amy North Jordan and Mary Jane Wickham £2,000 currency charged upon Hogstye Plantation with same provisions as regards settlement of real estate; £500 already given to each of said two daughters on marriage. To son John Hothersal Pinder, his plantation Ayshford with slaves etc., charged with legacies. To son Francis Ford Pinder, Hothersal Plantation charged with Legacies and also residue of estate.
