STOW Malcolm J. Gittins, 69, died Oct. 26, 2003.
Born in Beaver Falls, Pa., he was a retired member of the Teamsters Local 348, a member of V.F.W. Huff Post 1062, where he was chap lain of the Dads of For eign Service Veterans and vice president of the state chapter. He was also a member of the Moose Post 918, American Legion Post 281, and was a life member of the Eagles 2207.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughters and son-in-law, Sandy (Bob) Straffon of Industry, Pa., Debbie Heckert of Pittsburgh, Pa., Tabitha Gittins of Manchester, sons and daughters-in-law, Malcolm Git tins of Pittsburgh, Pa., Tom (Margaret) Gittins of Seattle, Wash., Tim (Gina) Gittins of Akron, Todd (Lynn) Gittins of Coventry; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Sue) Gittins of Alabama.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be conducted Thursday, 10 a.m. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631.)
