- JoAnn Gittins Huff, 68, passed away on April 23, 2005, at her home in American Falls, Idaho, from a lingering illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1936, to Lorin DuWayne and Isabell Williams Gittins in Smithfield, Utah.
JoAnn married Marlin Chambers (deceased), she married Lawrence Paulson (deceased). She married Robert Kammeyer, they were later divorced. In 1972, she married Glen Huff and moved to Pocatello, where JoAnn and Glen purchased and operated Glen's Chevrolet. JoAnn was an astute business manager and received numerous professional awards from General Motors Corporation and Subaru of America.
JoAnn and Glen loved to travel and visited countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, China, Israel and every corner of the United States.
After retirement, she was content to work in her beautiful home and spaciously landscaped yard in American Falls. JoAnn loved her pets, reading books and golfing with her husband and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Surviving family include her husband, Glen Huff of American Falls; mother, Isabell Gittins of Logan, Utah; two sons, Lawrence Paulson III of Ogden, Utah, and Robert "Bob" Kammeyer of American Falls, Idaho; grandchildren, Christine Chambers and Lawrence Paulsen IV; a sister, Janae (Dee) Greene of Pocatello, Idaho; and four brothers, Jerry (Eunice) Gittins , Jim (Nola) Gittins , Jay (Marylou) Gittins and Jedd Gittins , all of Smithfield, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father, Wayne Gittins and two sons, Alan and Michael Chambers.
