Rosamond Longfield-Smith, 90, Artist
Babson Park - Miss Rosamond "Robbie" Longfield-Smith of Babson Park died Saturday (14 May 1994) at Lake Wales Medical Centre. She was 90.
Born in Kensington, Barbados on March 10, 1904, she came to Babson Park from New York City 13 years ago. She was a watercolour artist specializing in dance and movement with expression of West Indian themes. She was a former resident of Chicago and travelled extensively. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of Good Shepherd.
She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor C. Longfield-Smith, Babson Park, and Dorothy Ingle, Holly Hill; and sister-in-law, Louise Longfield-Smith, Lake Wales.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Wales. Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Wales
