      Mae Margaret Gittins 86 of Gray, IA died Aug. 4, 2015, at the Friendship Home in Audubon, IA. Margaret was born Dec. 27, 1928, at her parents' farm home near Bethany, MO. She was raised and attended school in the Bethany area. In 1947 moved to Guthrie Center, IA and was the secretary/bookkeeper for Howard Randolf Produce. On Oct. 10,1948 married Leroy "Roy" Gittins. Moved to Gray, IA in 1949 to manager the Gray Produce and Feed. Purchased the business in 1950 Margaret was the secretary/bookkeeper until they closed the business in 1980. Roy died on Feb. 25, 2003. Survivors include her children Linda (Paul) Wendl Panora,IA, Rex (Jody) Gittins Wahoo, NE, and Clay (Mary) Gittins Rockwell City, IA; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Robert Hiatt Bethany, MO, Charles Hiatt Havre, MT, Betty Paul Glendale, CA, and Judy Hiatt New Orleans, LA; brother-in-law Rev. Gordon Gittins Johnston, IA, sisters-in-law Pauline (Don) Marion West Des Moines, IA and Martha Gittins Stuart, IA. Family visitation Sunday afternoon from 4 :00 - 9:00 P.M.
