I have surmized that the marriage record between Joseph Ostrehan and Elizabeth Dorothy Gittens dated 11 Jun 1789, in Saint Michael, was in fact a marriage between Joseph Ostrehan (his second marriage) and Elizabeth Dorothy (Perry) Gittens, her second marriage.
There is no direct evidence for this assumption and it is based on the inter-marriage of the Perry and Ostrehan families and the lack of records to support the birth of an Elizabeth Dorothy Gittens.
