      Mary Lillian, born Dec. 6, 1913 in Port Arthur, passed away Oct. 7th in Thunder Bay. Predeceased by her parents Eames and Jean Foreman and by her sister Nancy Johnson and brother William Foreman, also by her first husband Maurice Grand Maitre in 1947 and second husband William Saari, in 1984. Survived by her daughter Marlene Grand Maitre and step-son Donald Saari, his wife Michelle and their sons Derek and Jason, all of British Columbia. Also by nieces and nephews and their families. Mary was very active in curling and lawn bowling circles and was an avid bridge player. The family would like to thank Dr. Nickerson and the staff of Grandview Lodge for their high quality care. Special thanks to nephew Terry Foreman for his assistance. There will be no service by request.

      The Buckingham Post of Aug 4 1911 carried a report on the wedding:

      "A cloudless sky was the happy augury of the wedding of Miss JanetLeslie Devenny on Tuesday of this week. Miss Devenny, who is theeldest daughter of John Devenny of this place was wedded to Mr. EamesNewton Foreman of Port Arthur, son of Geo. Foreman of Grenville,Quebec The bride's home was prettily decorated for the occasion. Undera beautiful wedding bell the young couple were united in wedlock bythe Rev. W.F. Crawford assisted by the Rev. Dr. R. Laing uncle of thebride. After happy congratulations all partook of the many good thingsprovided for the festal occasion. The Rev. Dr. Laing in a neat andwitty speech proposed the toast to the bride and groom. The Rev. W. F.Crawford also humorously wished the young couple bon voyage. In acorner of the sitting room a large array of wedding gifts spokesilently yet eloquently of the large number of friends the bride andbride...

    I am attaching a photo taken in 1940 with Grandpa and Grandma Foreman along with Mary, Nancy and Jack taken in front of the old camp at Green Bay. The other two photos are of your Mom's brother Jack who was killed in WWII
