Alfred Claude Crompton at age 16

On the back of the photograph I sent is written 'Alfie aged 16' - I don't know who wrote this but it is undoubtedly his picture. It was given by his mother to Jack (John Y Crompton) and then to Pat. He was a very good looking boy and stands out even in his school photograph of 1910 which I will send to you when I go home ( We are currently staying at our cottage and not at our main house).
