Besides the institutions that Edward mentioned, Claire Hendricks
posted the following list of graduates from the College of
Chemistry, Scotland back in March, which I had kept a copy of
because of the St. Kitts references:

I promised to post the lists of medical and law students given in
Caribbeana. This first list of medical students isn't very long ..so I'll
start with this and do the "List of West Indian Admissions to Gray's Inn
1521-1889" next. The latter list is much longer and contains some parent
information, which this one does not.
I copy verbatim from Vol III, p384:
MS. LIST OF STUDENTS
In the College of Chemistry, Scotland, from 1755 to 1765, and of the
Materia Medica, Jan.7, 1761, etc., 985 names, includiing many from America
and West Indies, 8vo, half-bound, xviii Cent.
Several of the names have M.D. placed after them. Others have the County
added in a later hand.
