    Vestry election:On Manday last Jan 8, 1866, there was a Vestry contst to fill the vancancies caused by the death of Joseph Gittens and the retirement of Clement T. Fields. Mr. John Armstrong lost his seat and the three new Vestryman elected were Mr. John Bynoe (coloured) Fred Lord (Coloured) and Mr. Hugh Seale (White).
