Imprimus; …to discharge my just debts and funeral expenses…
Item. …to my dear and loving wife Mary Gittens for and during the term of her widowhood the sum of £400 current money…a horse and a boy and her accommodations of meat drink washing and lodging in my dwellinghouse so long as she continue sole and unmarryd ..
Item. ..as my dear and loving wife maybe with child at the time of my decease…the said child shall have the sum of £500 curr:t money of the island per annum to be paid to each such child if a boy at the age of one and twenty years and if a girl the sum of £400 at the age of twenty one years…
Item. To said child whether it be a boy or a girl the reversion which I have of three negro slaves…Hannah a woman, Billy and Johnny Boys, to be delivered said child when he or she shall attain the age of twenty one years.
