debts to be paid…all my estate…both here and elsewhere…to my beloved wife Louisa Gittens and my son William Armstrong Gittens…to be equally divided… [should the legatees die] …to my sisters Ann Bell Armstrong, Martha Lyder Gibson, Rebecca Christian Oxley and my nephew Thomas Armstrong son of my said sister Ann Bell.
