Mary Ashby made a will dated 6 February 1730/31. Will of Mary Ashby, spinster of St Phillip, signed Feb 6th 1730, Entered April 8 1731: cousin: Samuel Gitten's son, Joshua Gittens £50 at present in father's hand. Cousin: Rebecca Gittens £16. Cousin: Edward Gitten's son Samuel - £20 to buy him a negro. Cousin: Hannah Gittens £16. Cousin: Nathaniel Gitten's son, John £16. Cousin: Hannah Busehll, chest of drawers, saddle and one negro girl. Cousin: Joshue Bushell, a slave. Cousins: Georg Bushell jr., Hannah Bushel, Joshua Bushell and Henry Bushell. Executors: her cousins George Bushel and Samuel Gittens. Witnesses: Jno Pritchard, Edward Gittens, Edward Gill.
Mary died before 6 April 1731 at St Phillip, Barbados.
Her will was proved on 8 April 1731 at Barbados.
