| Text | Daniel Crittenden, son of Abraham and Susan (Kirby) Crittenden was born May 27, 1696 in Guildford and became a physician of a somewhat revolving disposition. He lived in New Haven, Middletown, Milford, Connecticut and Edwardtown Massachusetts where he died in 1751. He married Patience Bradley., probably a daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Bradley of New Haven who died August 14, 1733 said to have been 55 years of age more probably 45. [It looks like these are incorrect parents and therefore stricked out.] Dr. Hopestil Crittenden son of Dr. Daniel and Patience (Bradley) Crittenden was a resident of New Haven in 1741, of Haddam in 1745, and later of Middletown where his house is still standing. He married Mary Wetmore Bacon born in 1719, daughter of Nathaniel and Hannah Wetmore Bacon, they were the parents of 15 children. | |
