Hi Kathy,
I received your screenshot, which confirmed the identity of the Quentin Gittens family. Thank you.
In my database, I have Quentin Gittens married to Tessie, not Bessie. I’m unsure which is correct. My information source was the 1940 US Census, and here’s a link to the Census page. Census data is often written and difficult to read, and mistakes in names are common. I reviewed the Census page again this morning and, now that I know of the Bessie name, it seems there was an error in transcribing the information. I’ll change Tessie to Bessie, and the change will appear on my website next time I update it.
I was only able to gather information on two generations of this family: Quentin and his father, Edward G.W. Gittens. All the information I gathered is on my website; I don’t have any more.
