1845RB4/71/266 Elizabeth Gittens of the parish of St.Michael…spinster…one acre of land, part of my place in the parish of St. Philip called Sea Views…adjoining lands of Samuel Hall Lord Decd. and Richard Sargeant. to my nephew Benjamin Thomas Armstrong son of Joseph and Frances Armstrong during the tenure of his natural life…after his death…to the use of Alexander Armstrong, son of Maria Gittens…either of them…to sell my messuage or dwelling house, No 46 Tudor Street Bridge Town…buildings hereditements and appurtenances…for the most money.. To my niece Catherine Gittens Armstrong the sum of £107…her mother the said Frances Armstrong …the like sum…the residue of the said purchase money …divided…between my nephew Samuel Morrison Evans, my niece Frances Ann Thomas, wife of Michael Thomas and the said Frances Armstrong and Catherine Gittens Armstrong…my said place called Sea View…twenty seven acres and a quarter with the mansion or Dwelling House and all other buildings…to my friend Samuel Maynard Alleyne the younger of the parish of St. Thomas and William Johnson Gooding of the parish of St. Philip…upon Trust [This will is 8 pageslong, mainly dealing with who should get what should the legatees die before Elizabeth or each other. Also mentioned is her niece Elizabeth Alleyne, wife of Samuel Maynard Alleyne, should other bequests fail. Executors.
