Hi Cliff,
To answer your question.......
The brothers John Gretton Leach and Joseph Seale Leach, married 2 Conliff sisters, Margaret Thorp Conliff and Mary Frances Conliff, who were the daughters of Mark Thomas Conliff and Christian Carr Marshall (who were first cousins), married in 1823. The other siblings were......Abigale Conliff, b.1826, and never married, James Wharton Conliff, b.1829, married Lucy Clarke and had 3 children (of whom 1 daughter Lily married her 1st cousin James Selman Leach.). Then there was Thomas who died early, John Christopher Conliff and Mark Carr Conliff, who both married in America.
The Conliff Family Tree chart is a bit confusing, am not suprised you got it wrong! We don't know anything really about the Leach side, so am really interested to take notes from what you gathered on the Mormon site. Must try and check that out also. I guess there are plenty of Leach's on this island who we don't know about, and probably are all family, like the Gittens'!
Isabella's siblings, John Gretton and Lucy must have died early, as their names were never mentioned in the notes that were passed down from my great granmother Ellen (Clinckett) Leach, wife of Joseph Seale Leach (the 2nd).
