Thank you for the information. I am sending you a vintage picture of Even and Keith Foster. The brothers of my Grandmother, Miriam Elise Foster-Kyle all from Barbados. It was taken at Lake Huntington, NY in 1926. By the way most of the family referred to my Grandmother by her middle name Elise, most of her paper work here spells it that way also. I did notice a few papers spell it Elsie.
As for Samuel James Foster Sr, it has been a very long time, and I have the same limited information you have. However, I have him being born at "The Farm" then being married in 1825 in St Andrews Parrish to Elizabeth. I then have Samuel James Foster, his son, born
19 Dec 1825. I assumed the Father was the one in the picture, as the family told me he worked at the plantation. My notes are packed away but I am sure I got this from the Barbados National Archives.
